This is a true rarity. This Champagne is made of almost equal parts of 3 grapes, but not the ones you are probably thinking of. When most of us first learned about Champagne we were told that it could be made of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay. While the vast majority of Champagnes use those grapes, there are a few others allowed. This wine is made of Arbane, Petit Meslier, and Pinot Blanc, which gives it a character that is definitely Champagne, but also alien. Enjoy it with simple shellfish dishes.
