From a 0.81 hectare parcel planted in 1968 and 1978. One of the parcels has very deep and compact clay while the other near Puligny is more fine, with 20% limestone
Vinous: 88 Points
The 2022 Bourgogne Côte d'Or has a vivacious nose with Morello cherries and crushed strawberry fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with chalky tannins. It is very fresh with a crunchy, crisp finish with impressive sapidity. Bon vin.
Burghound: 87 Points
Notes of earth and the sauvage-infused the ripe and fresh nose of mostly red berries. The racy, delicious and nicely voluminous flavors possess good richness, all wrapped in a sneaky long, moderately rustic and solidly complex finale. This has the stuffing to repay 2 to 3 years of keeping and I would recommend doing so. Fine quality for its level.
