Crafted from a classic vineyard by a winemaker who's been working there for decades, this bottling is lush and detailed on the nose, offering black cherry compote, boysenberry , star anise and cola-spiked ice cream aromas. The palate expertly balances bold black cherry, cracked pepper and and lush French toast spices, leaving the mouth buzzing and engaged long into the finish

The 2024 vintage at Garys’ Vineyard was characterized by warm periods (a week to 10 days or warmer, but not hot weather), followed by a similar period of cooler weather. September turned consistently mild, leading to harvest on September 20, 2024 – just slightly earlier than the historic norm. In tank, the wine initially seemed more approachable than previous vintages, but structure developed quickly and I pressed it off to barrel after only 15 days on the skins.
