"The red blend 2022 O Esteiro was produced with Espadeiro, Mencía and Caíño; it's a barrel blend similar to the Capitán Xurelo, but here he looks for more elegance and finesse. This is a little paler and more herbal, with more pungent pine needle aromas, a light body and 11% alcohol. The grapes fermented with full clusters and matured in used oak barrels for 18 months. 3,333 bottles produced. It was bottled in April 2024. It has a different character from the Capitán Xurelo but is at the same quality level." - Luis Gutiérrez
